Facilities for Differently Abled Students

At Government College Fatehabad (HQ), we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students. Accessibility & Infrastructure

• Ramp Access & Wheelchair-Friendly Entrances:
  Key areas of the college campus are equipped with ramps to ensure easy access for students with mobility challenges.

• Accessible Washrooms:
  Separate washroom facilities are available and designed to accommodate the needs of differently abled students.

• Classroom Seating Arrangements:
  Priority seating and customized arrangements are made to support physical comfort and accessibility during lectures.

Academic Support

• Extra Time During Examinations:
  Eligible students are provided additional time and other approved accommodations during university examinations, in accordance with guidelines.

• Supportive Teaching Environment:
  Faculty members are sensitized to the needs of differently abled students and offer personalized academic assistance where required.

• Digital Learning Materials:
  Efforts are made to provide study materials in accessible formats, including digital copies when possible.

Student Support Services

• Dedicated Nodal Officer:
  A designated faculty member serves as the Nodal Officer for differently abled students to assist with academic, administrative, or personal concerns.

• Counseling and Guidance:
  The college provides access to counseling services aimed at emotional and psychological well-being, open to all students.

• Grievance Redressal Mechanism:
  A clear, student-friendly grievance process is in place to ensure that concerns related to accessibility and support are addressed promptly.
